OHOM Open Heart, Open Mind
The Essence of OHOM
Founded in Los Angeles in 2014, OHOM is an independent design brand creating products that bring warmth, beauty, and ease to everyday life.
From self-heating ceramic drinkware to modern desktop essentials, each OHOM product thoughtfully combines refined design, practical function, and technology that feels natural and intuitive. We draw inspiration from traditional craftsmanship while exploring new ways to make familiar objects more enjoyable, enduring, and meaningful.
The name “OHOM” is pronounced /ōm/—like “om,” or “home” without the “H.” It stands for Open Heart, Open Mind.
To us, an open heart allows us to welcome different people, ideas, and experiences. An open mind encourages curiosity, broader perspectives, and thoughtful creativity. Together, they guide how we design and reflect our belief that the objects around us can help create a warmer, more harmonious, and more joyful everyday life.
The Art of Fine Ceramic
Crafting Excellence in Ceramics Through Passion and Precision
Shaped by Earth. Elevated by Art Centuries-old craft, elevated by thoughtful design
For centuries, humankind has transformed one of nature’s humblest materials—earth—into objects of beauty and meaning. In the hands of skilled artisans, the ordinary becomes extraordinary.
At OHOM, nature and artistry come together. Simplicity meets purity, while thoughtful function becomes inseparable from design.
Crafted with Care Every detail reflects patience, skill and a deep devotion to the art of ceramics.
Devotion in Every Detail
Behind every piece is a team deeply devoted to the craft of ceramics. From preparing the clay and forming each mold to carefully applying the glaze and firing each piece at 1300°C for 12 hours, every step is guided by skill, patience, and attention to detail.
We are united by one vision: to continually pursue excellence in ceramic craftsmanship and create objects that bring lasting beauty to everyday life.
Perfected by Hand Each piece is shaped by skilled hands, patient craftsmanship, and an uncompromising attention to detail.
Good Mood, Great DaySurround Yourself with Harmony
At OHOM, we believe a good mood can shape the way you experience your day. Our thoughtfully crafted self-heating ceramics bring warmth, beauty, and calm to everyday rituals—from the first sip of coffee to the gentle aroma of a diffuser.
Guided by “Good Mood, Great Day,” we create products that do more than serve a purpose. Soft forms, refined textures, peaceful colors, and careful craftsmanship come together to delight the senses and bring a sense of harmony to daily life.
Every moment with OHOM is an invitation to slow down, feel better, and enjoy the day a little more.
